Beim Exportieren eines ARCHICAD-Modells nach IFC wird jedem Element ein IFC-Elementtyp zugewiesen.
Die Typ-Zuordnung ist im IFC-Übersetzer zum Exportieren in der Voreinstellung der Typ-Zuordnung definiert: entweder nach Element-Typ oder nach Klassifizierung.
