Draw a Drafting Fill

To draw a Drafting fill, first activate the Fill tool in the Toolbox and choose one of the three Geometry Methods from the Info Box.

Drawing Fills with either the Polygon, the Rectangle or the Rotated Rectangle method is similar to the process for drawing walls.

For an illustration of this process, see Create a Chain of Walls and Create a Rectangle of Walls.

Drafting fills, like the other categories, can be assigned to display elements, or are simple 2D Fills drawn by hand in any model window.

However, you may wish to assign such a fill to the “cover fill” or “cut fill” category, for display or export purposes.

For more information, see Fill Categories.
