Managing Issues

ARCHICAD introduces two new interfaces to manage, edit and organize issues effectively.

Issue Manager

Issue Manager enables the user to detail and manage the content of individual Issues.

Users can save any number of views into the Issue. These views are based on the visible elements, the camera position, the cutting planes and the snapshots. Redlining can be applied to the snapshots using the default image editor. Issue Manager is also where the user accepts (or partially accepts) suggested modifications.

Issue Organizer

Issue Organizer manages the full list of all the Issues in the project.

Sort issues using a customizable hierarchical logic to fit user needs.

Parameters of the selected issues can be instantly changed with inline editing.

Issue Tags

Each issue can be assigned Priority, Status and Type values, and can be sorted accordingly. Available values can be customized.

Selected Elements and Related Issues

Users can easily check whether a selected element is part of an existing issue, then filter for the relevant issues in Issue Organizer.

Context-Sensitive Suggestion Feedback

For a selected element that is part of an issue: context-sensitive feedback (in the grip icon) lists which parameter groups will be changed if the suggestion is accepted.

Issue Details & History

Both Issue Manager and Issue Organizer provide access to the details and history of the current issue. In Issue Details, the user can modify the issue name and the parameters, add labels, enter the description, and determine the responsible person and/or team.

The History panel of Issue Details monitors all activities related to a particular issue.
