Cutting Plane in 3D Model (c)

You can use temporary Cutting Planes in 3D to display the inside of the building.

To create a Cutting Plane:

1.From a 3D view:

 click the Cut Model command from the bottom right corner of the screen

2.The model is cut. Hover to display the Cutting Plane.

The Cutting Plane is shown in orange (unlike the Layout overlay, which is green)

3.Click and drag the Cutting Plane to see the part of the model you need.

Note: If a ghosted Layout is also shown in the 3D model, moving the Cutting Plane will move the Layout along with it.

From any edge of the orange Cutting Plane, right-click to see the context menu.

Flip to reverse the direction of the cut

Off to delete the Cutting Plane and show the full model

Or toggle off the Cut Model command at the bottom right corner of the screen.
