https://helpcenter.graphisoft.com/wp-content/uploads/archicad-24-reference-guide/082_structuralanalysisformat/DownloadSAFTranslators.png

Available content on this page, which will be expanded periodically, includes:

SAF Material catalog in SAF.xlsx format for various Analysis Softwares (e.g. SCIA)

SAF Manufactured Cross Section catalog in SAF.xlsx format for various Analysis Softwares (e.g. SCIA)

External Database file for “Create Profiles for unmapped Manufactured Cross Sections” feature, used in the SAF Import Translator.

Translator settings in SAF Translator.xml format

Note: The predefined SAF Translator.xml files are based on the ARCHICAD factory-defined template. Thus, some of its Material and Profile attributes may not match the attributes in your project file, causing missing attributes which you need to replace by hand. Nevertheless, using the predefined file can still save you time by providing a well-defined starting point.

Download the package you need, then import or merge the file in the relevant SAF Translator dialog.

Note: The available predefined content represents extensive and comprehensive catalogs, including many items that will not be used in your specific project.

If you only need a limited set of SAF Materials/Cross Sections, consider creating your own SAF data file based on the external analysis software, which includes only the items you need:

See Prepare and Export a SAF Data File to Ensure Standard Mapping.
