Documentation of the New Openings

ARCHICAD 23 enables the creation of Opening floor plan representations according to the many different possible standard graphic symbols.

Note: Graphic symbol not available on Sections/Elevations in ARCHICAD 23.

Floor Plan Display

User can configure the 2D representation of each Opening instance individually, in the Opening Settings Dialog/Floor Plan and Section panel.

Divided Openings can be displayed as separated or unified.

Smart GDL symbols are available to represent Openings on floor plans. Separate cut and uncut fills can be assigned to each Opening.

Cut Surface, Outlines and Cover Fills

The Cut Surfaces, Outlines, and Cover Fills settings allow for further customization of Opening display in 2D.
