MEP Modeler

Use the built-in MEP Modeler Add-On to model and edit 3D MEP (mechanical, electrical and plumbing) systems and coordinate them in BIM models.

MEP Modeler and the MEP Library are loaded automatically with ARCHICAD 24, and require no extra license.

Activate MEP Work Environment

To see the MEP-related tools and palettes in ARCHICAD:

Use Options > Work Environment > Apply Profile > MEP Engineering Profile

For details on what this Profile contains, see MEP Work Environment.

Now you are ready to start placing MEP elements: either individually, using MEP tools, or with a series of clicks, using the MEP Routing function.

Note: Make sure the Autogroup function (Edit > Grouping > Autogroup) is turned off.
