Faster Rebuild of Views

ARCHICAD is continuously improving multi-core handling during long operations. ARCHICAD 23 introduces multi-threading during the initial view rebuild of simple elements, such as lines, arcs, polylines, and splines. This is extremely useful for large dxf/dwg drawings received from other disciplines or site surveys.

Rebuild Only What Has Changed

Changes to view settings often affect only a very limited number of elements. ARCHICAD 23 tries to identify these elements and rebuilds only those, keeping the majority of the elements untouched, which dramatically reduces rebuild time.

This technology affects many areas across the entire program. For example, switching off a single layer will be an instant operation, because there is nothing to be calculated - only fewer elements to be displayed. It also applies to traced views, so ‘Trace and Reference’ are updated almost instantly.
