Restructure Schedule to Fit Layout

Note: This function is also available for Project Indexes placed on Layouts.

Use the Restructure Table command to automatically split up large Drawings (e.g. based on Schedules) which exceed the Layout size, and to lay out the parts next to each other.

The following image shows a Window Schedule that does not fit onto an A4 sized sheet.

Follow these steps:

  1. Make sure that the Schedule (on which the Drawing is based) is using the “Records by Columns” format (IES Scheme Settings.)
  2. Make sure that the Drawing uses the “Fit Frame to Drawing” option (Drawing Settings).
  3. On the Layout: select the Drawing.
  4. From the Pet Palette , choose the Restructure Table command, then manually resize the Drawing frame.

The result: the Schedule is split in two portions which are placed under each other.

Note: If the selected Drawing is set to Split Drawing into Multiple Layouts, then the Restructure Table command will place part of the Schedule onto an additional Layout.

See Split Schedule into Multiple Layouts.
