Use the Desktop Viewer version of BIMx to enjoy interactive exploration on your desktop computer.
Installation
Desktop Viewer is installed and updated together with Archicad.
•On Windows: BIMx Desktop.exe is installed by default to the Archicad installation folder, in the BIMx Desktop Viewer sub-folder.
•On Mac: BIMx.app is installed to the Applications/GRAPHISOFT folder
Start the Application
Do one of the following
•Use the desktop shortcut
•On Windows: Use the Start menu
•On Mac: Use the Spotlight or Launchpad
Home Screen
Open Hyper-Model
To open a Hyper-model, do one of the following:
•Choose one from the Recent list (at least one built-in demo model is available)
•Click Open to browse for a Hyper-model
•Use the File menu Open commands
•Click BIMx Model Transfer to access Hyper-models uploaded to the BIMx Model Transfer site
Return to Home Screen
Use File > Home Screen to return here after launching a Hyper-model
