Stretch 2D Member

Stretch part or all of one edge of a 2D Member polygon, so that it can connect to another nearby Member.

For each stretch adjuster, you can set a maximum allowed stretch distance (“Max. stretch”). This distance is measured between unadjusted 1D Member Nodes and/or unadjusted 2D Member planes.

Note: The defined tolerances are length-type values: the units specified for Length in Preferences > Working Units apply.

Partial stretch

Check this to stretch only part of the 2D Member edge. This applies if the 1D target is in the same plane as the 2D Member that is being stretched.

Min. segment length

If Partial Stretch is enabled: An edge part will be stretched only if it is at least this long.
