Rotating Beam and Columns

Rotate Vector

The regular Rotate command rotates the Beam/Column element together with its extrusion vector (i.e. the Beam reference line or the Column axis.)

Rotate Profile

Do one of the following:

Use the Rotate Profile (Beam) or Rotate on Axis (Column) command from the pet palette of the selected element in the 3D window.

Enter a value in the Axis Rotation field in Beam or Column Settings (End Cuts and Reference Axis panel)
