Interoperability of the New Openings

Opening data exchange between ARCHICAD 23 and 3rd party engineering software is enabled via IFC.

•An IFC Opening is imported as an ARCHICAD Opening, provided that its target element is a Wall, Slab, Beam or Mesh; the Opening has rectangular or circular/ellipitical base polygon and an extruded Operator body; and there is no Door/Window inside the IFC Opening.

•ARCHICAD Openings are exported as IFC Openings.

See Import/Save Openings with IFC.
