Small Improvements

Some small but welcome improvements and fixes:

Interactive Scheduler: Updated zoom 25% (was 20%), new zoom factors of 75% and 125% added

Interactive Scheduler: Simplified and cleaned up header, allowing to view more content; “Rebuild” shortcut added to new Settings menu

Edit Selection Set dialog: Improved resizing logic

When defining Criteria (e.g. for Find & Select), a reorganized pop-up list makes finding items easier

Application Header: On Windows, ARCHICAD header has been simplified, removing unnecessary information

Complex Profile: Creating a new modifier from a Custom Profile: new option to Save directly from the warning

Edit Railing Geometry:

Two new pet palette commands to offset Railing Reference Line (offset one segment or all segments of Reference Line)

In Edit mode: Offset any or all Railing segments (Reference Line remains in place, e.g. with associated element)

List of Complex Profiles: Fixed an error on Windows, where Profile names were truncated

Complex Profile: Fixed error that occurred with neighboring fills of different widths: sometimes an edge line would be missing

AC22 (Edge line missing)

AC23 (Edge line displayed)

New IFS Function for Expressions: Use the IFS function to test a series of logical conditions, then return the value for the first true condition. IFS is an easy way to avoid multiple nested IF statements (which can be cumbersome).

Sunlight Settings: Moving the sliders now provides live feedback within dialog

Info Box panels: Updated Info Box panels for Zone and Label: each method shown separately rather than from pop-ups.

Shell and Morph Input: Dialogs simplified and made clearer with icons

Composites dialog: Duplicate functionality now merged into New button

Attribute Manager: Search field now correctly resizes when resizing dialog

Attribute Manager: Surfaces with a missing texture are now indicated with a red texture icon, with ability to sort by missing texture

Attribute Manager: When transferring Layer Combinations, now optionally include Layers, too. (Use the “Include All Associated Layers” checkbox. This checkbox existed in pre-22 versions, and is now back in AC23 due to user request.)

Sun Study: When saving to video formats, new Date/Time Stamp options are available to customize appearance and location of stamp

Work Environment: New search functionality added to instantly search Keyboard Shortcuts, Toolbar items, and Menu items

Work Environment (Mac only): Handle AFP Connections as SMB Connections. Enable this checkbox (Network and Update page) to ensure that ARCHICAD uses the SMB file server protocol (not AFP) when locating external files (e.g. Drawings). Both protocols can still be used, but this checkbox ensures the use of SMB. (MacOS 10.14 supports the APFS file system, which supports the SMB protocol but not AFP).

Delete and Replace Improvement: Delete and Replace / Details, which shows the number of items that will have Missing Attributes, now shows a detailed list of all items individually listed by name, ID, location; in a browser window by clicking “Show Details in Browser…”.

When using an ARCHICAD dialog to browse for and open an ARCHICAD file (PLN or PLA): the backup (BPN) copies are no longer listed among the available file types filtered as “All ARCHICAD Projects”. This prevents you from accidentally opening and editing an older backup copy of the same name. Of course, you can still browse for and open a backup file at any time - either by double-clicking its name in the file system, or using the dialog’s “All file types” filter.
