Elements of the Structural Analytical Model

The Structural Analytical Model represents a simplified version of the building’s load-bearing elements and their supports.

Which ARCHICAD Elements Participate in the Structural Analytical Model?

The element must meet the following conditions:

Its Structural Function is Load-Bearing Element

Generation of the Structural Analytical Model is enabled for the element (in element settings)

It was created using one of the eligible ARCHICAD tools:

Column

Beam

Wall

Single-Plane Roof

Slab

If it is a composite or Complex Profile, it must include at least one Core skin/component

Note: Certain element geometries are not supported. See more at 1D Members (Column and Beam) and 2D Members (Slab, Wall, Roof))

Components of the Structural Analytical Model

The Structural Analytical Model consists of the following:

1D Members (Column and Beam)

2D Members (Slab, Wall, Roof)

Two new tools support generation of the Structural Analytical Model:

Structural Supports

Other components are Nodes End/Edge Releases, and Local Coordinate System.
