Navigating Among Tabs

Tabs are an essential part of the design workflow, because they help the user to work with multiple views while optimizing the screen area. To make Tab switching easier, ARCHICAD 23 provides a large size preview of Tabs, even before activating them, to prevent accidentally activating the wrong one.

Use the Tab Overview to see all the previews side-by-side, which also makes it easier to select the right one.

Note: To switch the Tab Preview feature on and off, use Options > Work Environment > More Options.

Faster Switch Between Tabs

ARCHICAD 23 reduces the time it takes to switch between open Tabs, by using cached Tab content and reducing rebuild time. Thanks to this optimization, switching between Tabs feels a lot snappier.
