Creating Issues

For maximum productivity, issue creation is tightly integrated with all the other collaboration and model checking workflows in ARCHICAD.

Issues by Selection

Any selected model element can be added to a new or existing issue, using a context menu command or via Issue Manager.

Issues from Model Checking

The new Model Check Report lists reported problems from all three of the model check functions.

For each listed item, the user can:

Fix the problem right away

Add it to an Issue and assign it to other team members

Solve it later

For details, see Model Checking.

Issues from Model Compare

In the Model Compare window, the dedicated palette lists the resulting changes. Select any items from this change list to add them (individually or as a group) to Issues, as highlights or suggestions.

For details, see Model Comparison.

Issues from BCF Import

ARCHICAD’s supports the issue management workflow via BCF: import a BCF file using Issue Organizer, either from local folder or directly from BIMcloud, then create and add the issues to the ARCHICAD project for further management.

ARCHICAD supports the latest BCF format (BCF 2.1), as well as all earlier BCF versions.

See also Support for BCF 2.1.

Issues from PDF markup

Issues coming from PDF markup solutions like Bluebeam are now shown in ARCHICAD’s new Issue Manager, for an even more convenient connection between ARCHICAD and Bluebeam Revu.
