Static Dimensions are not associative.
When a static dimension is placed, its reference point is rectangular.
To make an existing linear or level dimension into a static dimension, select the dimension and enable the Static Dimension checkbox in Dimension Settings.
Once a dimension has been made static, it cannot be made associative again.
