Custom Attributes of GDL Objects
Some GDL object scripts include custom attributes. These attributes may be defined either as part of their individual object scripts or defined in the MASTER_GDL script.
When you load such objects into a project, their custom attributes are automatically merged into the project’s attribute set as follows:
•
If the Attribute definition is contained in the MASTER_GDL script, then once the library containing the MASTER_GDL script is loaded, the attributes are merged into the ARCHICAD project attributes. Attributes with the same names are not replaced.
•
If the Attribute definition is contained in the individual library part scripts, then
- Fills and Line types are merged into the ARCHICAD project.
- Surface and Texture attributes are
not
merged into the ARCHICAD project attributes.
