STAR(T) Edition 2019 supports the following operating systems:

• Windows 10 (64-bit version)
• macOS 10.14 Mojave
• macOS 10.13 High Sierra

Notes on older systems:

  • macOS 10.12 Sierra
  • OS X 10.11 El Capitan
• Incompatible systems (STAR(T) Edition 2019 cannot be installed):
  • Windows Vista and older
  • OS X 10.10 Yosemite and older

Notes

• The latest updates are required to be installed on all Operating Systems
• Only 64-bit Operating Systems are supported
• HiDPI display support is not available on Windows 8.1 and on older versions

STAR(T) Edition 2019 files can be opened with:

• ARCHICAD 22
• Future STAR(T) Edition versions

STAR(T) Edition 2019 protection key / licensing:

• Available only with CodeMeter key.
• With the ARCHICAD STAR(T) Edition 2019 license you can open STAR(T) Edition 2019, STAR(T) Edition 2018, STAR(T) Edition 2017, StartEdition2016, StartEdition2015, StartEdition2014, StartEdition2013,  StartEdition2012, StartEdition2011 and StartEdition2010 as well.
• CodeMeter enabler is not available for StartEdition2009 and StartEdition2008 .
• You can use Start Edition with a dongle which has full ARCHICAD license on.
• Licensing limitations:
  • No License Borrowing available,
  • No NET license type available.

Installing

Uninstalling

Windows: To uninstall ARCHICAD STAR(T) Edition 2019 from Windows, it is best to use the “Programs” or “Add or Remove Programs” utility, accessible from the Control Panel. You can also browse to your ARCHICAD STAR(T) Edition 2019 folder and execute the uninstaller in the Uninstall.AC subfolder. macOS:

On Mac, navigate to the “Uninstall.AC” folder in your ARCHICAD STAR(T) Edition 2019 folder, and select the “Uninstall.app” application.

The Uninstall Wizard will remove files which were installed by the ARCHICAD Installation Wizard. CodeMeter and associated components are not removed.

The uninstaller will not remove any files you have created in the ARCHICAD main folder - e.g. ARCHICAD project files that you saved into the ARCHICAD main folder.
