Lens and Filters (CineRender Effect)

This effect is available in the Detailed view of PhotoRendering Settings for the CineRender engine.

Cylindrical Lens

This option enables you to pan across a much larger area than would be possible using other projection types - for example, to achieve a panorama view of up to 360°.

Horizontal Field of View: Use this setting to define how much of the horizontal view should be taken into account for calculation. A value of up to 360° can be entered.

Vertical Size: Use this setting to define the size of the parallel camera. Higher values will enlarge the portion of the image shown and will compress the image.

Lens Flare

Turn this on to render lens flare effects if they are used in your scene.

See Lens Flare in Lamp Tool Settings.

See also Lens flare in the Physical Sky’s Sun settings.

Median Filter

Removes peaks in color values from the image.

Use Strength to increase or decrease the Median Filter effect.

Object Glow

Turn this on to render glow effects if they are used in your scene.

See Glow (CineRender Surface Channel) in Surfaces.

Sharpen Filter

This filter emphasizes transitions in the image. This reinforces the edges.

Use Strength to increase or decrease the Sharpen Filter effect. Try using the filter with 30% strength.

Soften Filter

Each pixel is balanced with its neighbor to produce a softer transition.

Use Strength to increase or decrease the Soften Filter effect.
