The External Content Menu is missing from the File menu in ARCHICAD 19 Solo edition

Issue
The External Content menu is missing from the File menu therefore the Place External Drawing command and the Drawing Manager menu is also missing from the default Work Environment.

Solution
Workaround: The Drawing Manager can be accesed from the Navigator or the Organizer.

The Place External Drawing command can be placed in the File menu or any other menu through the Options - Work Envrionment - Menus dialog.

Issue
When one would like to update a placed external drawing, or a layout which contains it, an error message appears:

Cause
A view - showing a placed drawing on a wireframe layer – is placed on a layout, and the view is active on the user-interface.
 
Solution
- Updating the drawing in layout view
- Set the layer to Solid view mode
