LDAP synchronization failed

Possible reasons based on the frequency of occurrence

Missing email address

Every user must have an email address in BIMcloud. This is a requirement even if the users are coming from an active directory. Verify in your active directory settings if every user has an email address.

Connection issue

Make sure that your active directory can be accessed properly from the machine where BIMcloud is installed. Use an LDAP browser to verify the connection and the query.

Empty synced fields in AD

Verify the user list in your active directory. Make sure every synchronised field has a value. See the synced fields in the Parameter mapping in the LDAP settings of the BIMcloud Manager.

Permission issue

Make sure that the user which is used to connect to your active directory has the necessary permissions to read all data you set in the user/group query.

If you still experience the above issue, please contact your GRAPHISOFT support representative. For the investigation BIMcloud log files might be necessary.
