Favorites

Use Favorites to save and apply tool settings configurations that you use frequently. Favorites are saved with your project file, and can be imported and exported between projects. The ARCHICAD package includes some predefined tool Favorites.

You can access and apply Favorites from three places in the interface:

•Favorites Chooser in the Toolbox or Info Box

•Favorites Palette (Window > Palettes > Favorites)

•Tool Settings Dialog box

Which Parameters Are Applied with Favorites?

A Favorite’s stored parameters include:

•All of the element’s dimensions that can be entered in the settings dialog boxes for the element, e.g., wall thickness and height (but not length)

•Classification and Properties data

•for Fill Favorites: the style of its Fill Text, when “Show Area Text” is on

•for Library Parts: the name of the Library Part

Apart from the above, you can customize and save sets of additional parameters (“Transfer Sets”) to be applied with Favorites.

For details, see Element Transfer Settings.
