3D Engines

3D Engines are built-in configurations which control the generation of the 3D model in ARCHICAD. By default, two engines are offered:

Vectorial Engine

OpenGL Engine

To choose an engine, go to View > 3D View Options > 3D Styles.

The choice of engine affects the 3D display effects available, and thus the appearance of the model in 3D. Set up your 3D display preferences in the 3D Styles dialog box.

See 3D Styles.
