Affected version(s): All | Severity: Fixed in an Update | ID: 247725

Issue

When you first start any version of ARCHICAD, you might see the following message asking you to grant access to your contacts for ARCHICAD.

Cause

You get this message because of an ARCHICAD bug. ARCHICAD will work properly regardless of whether you choose "Don't Allow" or "OK". Your choice will be saved at 'System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy'.

If you have multiple versions of ARCHICAD installed, you might be asked more frequently (each time you start a different version than the last one).

Solution

This issues has been fixed in the Fall Updates of ARCHICAD 22 (build 40xx) and ARCHICAD 21 (build 70xx) - it doesn't prompt to get access for contacts anymore.
