Use one of two modes to navigate in 3D: Pan/Orbit, or Fly/Walk.
Both are described below.
Use Pan/Orbit mode to rotate around fixed camera points in 3D. This is ideal for rotating a building for a larger-scale view of the project.
You can also zoom in and “enter” the building, or go to any element by double-clicking it.
1.From the Index Browser, open the 3D View.
2.From the Toolbox, click the Settings button.
3.Click Pan/Orbit to activate this navigation mode.
Use the following shortcuts to Pan/Orbit:

Fly/Walk is a type of 3D navigation familiar in “First Person Shooter” (FPS) video games.
Use this method to move through building in a realistic way. Go to any element by double-clicking it.
•Walk: Proceed at a fixed horizon angle (as though “walking” on the ground). You can go through doors/windows, but not walls.
•Fly: Navigate in all directions, and go up and down. You can go anywhere in the model, including straight through the walls.
1.From the Index Browser, open the 3D View.
2.Click the Settings button.
3.Check either Fly (FPS) or Walk (FPS) to activate this navigation mode.

In the 3D view, you have the option to display 3D Zones (defined in ARCHICAD). This can be useful if the model is at a conceptual stage: e.g. to show the functional areas of the design, even if the building envelope is not in place.
1.In a 3D view, click the Settings button from the Toolbox.
2.Click Zone on/Zone off.
If “Zone on” is active, the Zone name is displayed at the top of the view:
